Starting with a rented beach house one of our favorite locations. You will have a more private beach area and a wedding setup can be a lot more easy for everyone. Then behind a condo or resort great for a wedding as your guests can also stay at the same location. A wedding on the beach behind a hotel is also a good location. Great for guests and lots of places to eat and they may have a bar for drinks and a reception area if needed.

At a state park beach location, this will be a very busy area in summer and you will need a state park wedding permit. In some state park areas, we can not set up our full setup due to the distance of getting to the location. In summer it can be very hard to almost impossible to get a parking space at many of the state park locations.

Many Gulf Shores area wedding providers have set wedding locations they use. They will point you to have your wedding at that location. You may have a hard time getting a place to park or some of your guests may never get a place to park. Parking on the side of the road and you could have your car towed away before the wedding is over.

We were one of a small handful of beach wedding provides years ago. It has now exploded into a lot of providers all going after the same wedding locations. It’s best to book your beach wedding as soon as you can to get your location locked it before it is too late.

A warning on wedding photography and quality of what you get.

Many of the wedding companies hire different photographers to shoot their weddings. All the better photographers are booked on most days so what is left is the lower end photographers. They have little to no experience that is why they will work for very little that the wedding companies offer to pay them.

Some providers do shoot the photos themselves but they are not a real photographer. They do not use real professional equipment. So it equals just snapshots. No good editing and good lighting and no good anything just quick snapshots. Not what you really want for your wedding photos.

We started out in Photography shooting weddings in-land and then we moved to the beach 16 years ago. We have shoot hundreds of wedding in the 1000 range at this point. We also shoot family beach portraits on days we do not have weddings.

Not only do we use professional photography equipment we stay on top of it upgrading to new gear all the time. New lighting and whatever is needed. This includes pre-ordering cameras even before they are out.

The quality of the photos we provide will be the best in the area. Ed has won photo contests and was awarded 1st 2nd and 3rd place winning photos for his beach and wedding portraits. Ed was also rated within the top ten photographers in the state of Florida and Alabama. Ed has also created software for other wedding and portrait photographers. Ed has done photography training teaching off camera lighting and high-end photo editing.
